Information on the use of cookies and similar technologies on the website www.eaeitalia.it, provided pursuant to Article 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003, the Guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority of 10 June 2021 and Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

Cookies are small text files that websites send to the user’s browser, where they are stored to be sent back to the same websites on the next visit. Similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage (localStorage), allow information to be kept on the device without sending it with every request. This notice describes which of these tools the website uses, for which purposes and how you can manage them.
The website does not install first-party profiling cookies. For its operation it only uses the browser’s local storage, in which it saves two values: eae_cookie_consent (the choice made in the banner: acceptance or refusal of statistical tools) and eae_cookie_consent_ts (the date of the choice). This information only serves to remember the user’s preference, does not identify the person and remains on the device for 6 months, after which the banner is shown again.
The language version of the website is determined by the page address and does not require cookies. The contact and application forms do not use cookies. Protection measures against abuse (request limiting) operate on the server based on the IP address, without installing anything on the device. No consent is required for the use of these strictly necessary tools.
Only after the user selects “Accept” in the banner does the website load Google Analytics 4, a statistical analysis service provided by Google Ireland Limited, with IP address anonymisation. Google Analytics installs the cookies _ga (maximum duration 24 months), which assigns a random identifier to the browser to distinguish visits, and _ga_<property identifier> (maximum duration 24 months), which keeps the session state. The information collected (pages visited, duration, device, approximate geographic area, visit source) is used in aggregated form to understand how the website is used and to improve its content; the data is retained by Google for 14 months.
Google may transfer this data to the United States on the basis of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses. Further information: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can also prevent collection by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). If the user selects “Reject”, or later withdraws consent, Google Analytics is not loaded and the related cookies are removed by the website.
YouTube videos: the videos on product pages, technical pages and virtual tours are embedded through the youtube-nocookie.com domain (privacy-enhanced mode). In this mode YouTube does not install cookies or collect data until the user starts playback; on playback, Google may install its own cookies (for example to store video player preferences) according to its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy).
OpenStreetMap map: the map on the Contact page is provided by the OpenStreetMap Foundation, which does not use profiling cookies; loading the map tiles involves transmitting the IP address to the service (osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy).
The website does not integrate social network buttons or plugins: the links to LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram are simple links that do not transmit data until activated by the user.
On first access the website shows a banner that allows you to accept or reject statistical tools with two equivalent commands; until a choice is made, no non-essential cookie is installed. The choice can be changed at any time through the “Manage cookie preferences” link in the footer of every page, which shows the banner again. After 6 months from the choice, the banner is shown again in any case.
You can also block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge: privacy and security section). Disabling third-party technical cookies, such as those of YouTube, may prevent embedded videos from playing.
