Cast-resin busbar trunking for outdoor environments
E-Line CCR
Electricity transmission was historically achieved by connecting several very thick cables in parallel. Supporting these cables requires a large quantity of cable trays and support systems, making the whole system costly and obsolete. Using cast-resin busbar trunking such as E-Line CCR brings many advantages in outdoor installations, for example in power plants and Oil & Gas applications. The aluminium enclosure covers the DURACOMP composite material, made of pure silicon minerals and epoxy resin, making it highly resistant to temperature and mechanical stress and insulating the busbar from external elements.
